ESF Community Outreach Programme The Community Outreach Programme is a series of engagement activities intended to identify, and provide help to overcome, barriers to employment. How does it work? You will be initially interviewed by an Outreach Worker who will assess your eligibility for the programme. They will then refer you to a personal Key Worker who will assess your situation and needs and plan a course of action with you.

What ELSE is on offer? The programme delivers practical advice and support. Subjects covered include: Confidence building and motivation. Completing job application forms. Developing interview skills. Presenting and selling yourself. Finding jobs and networking.
Identification of English language, literacy, numeracy and computer literacy needs and placement on a suitable course. In the meantime we will be able to support you to engage in short courses at DEMRP such as: Improving your ICT skills, Preparing a CV, opening and using an email account, web basic job searches. Hours The time you put in will be up to you but you should be prepared to give up a minimum of two hours per week. Remember, the more you put into it the more you will get out of the programme. |
