Information Advice and Guidance
Services available to existing centre users and the wider public
In April 2008, DEMRP achieved the Matrix Quality Standard for its Information Advice and Guidance services.
What we offer
DEMRP has achieved the Matrix Standard for Information advice and guidance services.
The DEMRP offers free information and advice on learning and employment to adults in the borough of Doncaster.
This service is provided by DEMRP staff and is funded by the DEMRP
We can help you if you are thinking about learning or work, on a course or after a course
You may book an appointment with a adviser who can discuss your options with you and help you make the right decisions
We can refer you to other people or organizations that can help you if you wish
The DEMRP offers a range of courses and qualifications, which we can tell you about if you are interested. There are charges for some of these.

We can provide you with information about:
Learning, training and work opportunities, Labour market information. Applying for jobs. Sources of further help and support, Support to find, understand and use information. Identification of short and long term goals, Preparation of an action plan.
You can expect the following:
A professional service delivered by qualified staff. A service that is supportive and delivered in line with equal opportunities and other relevant legislation. A confidential service, we will not pass any of your details on without your permission and we will keep all your details in line with the Data Protection Act. We will treat any feedback or complaints about our service seriously and do our best to put things right. All information and advice will be delivered in line with the DEMRP’s values and the Code of Principles. We can see you at DEMRP or somewhere else that is convenient.
We expect users of our services to:
Respect our staff, premises and equipment. Attend appointments or let us know if you cannot attend. Provide us with feedback when we ask for it.
